Hi, journal. I haven't visited you for awhile. I had good intentions - really, I did - but bad health and real life got in the way, per usual. I promise to pay you more attention and bring you lots of delicious entries from now on. How 'bout a hug?

Love and kisses,

Thanks, and I am feeling better. Started a new med last week. That always takes a little adjustment, as you well know. Had a few days of barfing, and now it's all good!

Ugh, yuck! What med are you trying this time? Hope the barfing has stopped for the most part!

Sorry about the garbled reply. I'm running on fumes today - no sleep at all for a couple of nights because pain has been bad. You've got bigger issues to think about, so I'll pop over to your LJ and write over there. *hugs*

OMG, were you in the middle of all the tornadoes?? I wondered if your area had been hit. Is your house okay? I hope so. We've had a few warnings here in eastern Iowa so far this season, but no damage or injury. We have a very old stone altar here that was the site of a ritual performed by the native medicine men and a local Catholic priest who had sort of gone native. They did a ritual that was intended to prevent tornadoes from touching down within the city. It's worked for the last two centuries or so; any tornadoes we get stay outside of city limits. Could be dumb luck, or maybe we're protected. You never know. I do know that I kissed my first boy next to that stone altar when I was six. :)
